Dr. Susan Royer and staff want to give back to the Winfield community whenever possible. One of the ways we like to do this is through Give Kids a Smile Day, which is held the first Friday in February each year. Dr. Royer joins with thousands of dentists throughout the country to provide free dental care to uninsured children. This year we were able to help 25 area children by performing exams, teeth cleanings, x-rays, fluoride, and fillings at no charge to the families.
We also participate in the Lakes of the Four Seasons Summerfest every August, distributing toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and a limited number of free teeth cleanings to the community.
This year, we were honored to be invited to Porter Lakes Elementary to speak with the kindergarten classes about proper dental care. We had a great time visiting with the children!
